dude Giannis is ranked 49th in the league in total minutes played - that's insane

 

Very, I saw the minutes stat the other day and couldn’t really believe it.

 

Middleton is starting to peak at the right time

 

with no back to backs in the playoffs dude might play 45-48 every close game and it's gonna be a problem for teams

I'm not really crazy about Harden. He is an amazing player that infuriates me and I do like Giannis a lot more.

The Bucks owe just as much to Budenholzer as they do to Giannis. The Rockets are all Harden. You can prefer Giannis but it's silly to suggest that Harden isn't also deserving.

I also think that Westbrook was deserving of his MVP even though I would have picked LeBron.

Points per game dont equal MVP, we know this because if it did giannis wouldnt even be close to in the conversation. Harden gets 40-50+ per game bc he’s a ball hog and does everything he can to draw fouls. Sure both are deserving i guess? Giannis makes every player on the court with him better, harden just seems like the only player on the court. I think i’d be annoyed if harden won it again but wouldnt be upset if giannis lost to someone like paul george.

 

Yeah, Harden does more than just score points.

If Paul George won it over James or Giannis it would be gross cus PG has fallen off big time and as has the Thunder in general.

 

I don't really buy that as an argument.

Harden seems like the only player on the court because his team has regressed as a whole. He's the system because he needs to be. I'm not a fan of the Rockets or the Bucks but I think that the Bucks would a solid playoff team without Giannis wheras the Rockets would not. Harden hasn't just scored a lot of points. It's reductive to suggest that.

 

Exactly. Even just looking at the rest of his stats proves that. He's always been a great playmaker too, which is always ignored, just as Russ's offensive rebounded and similarly great passing has been.

I can never really bring myself to care who wins MVP.

But Houston needs to chill out with these Harden minutes if they want him to not shoot like 29% from 3 in the playoffs again.

 

They have no choice if they want to keep the 3 seed unfortunately.
