Serious question: Has Shumpert ever been good? He was a nightmare in Cleveland for the most part. Beyond overrated.

 

He was a really good defender with the Knicks, never ever had enough confidence to get his offensive game going. He dwindled since then.

 

He was pretty good with Sac this year whenever I would watch them

It actually blows my mind that 3 years ago, the only person to average a triple-double over a season was Oscar Robertson.

I mean...the idea of trading LeBron is not that crazy. LeBron has a player option after year 3, so he presumably will opt out before the 4th year.

So the Lakers have him for two more full seasons. Again, he is entering his 17th year and will be 35 in December. This year has proven to be an absolute disaster. It also appears that not many other stars (outside of AD) want to join him in LA. And even with AD, the Lakers still have to trade for him and the Pelicans already turned down everything LA had to offer and now with more significant injuries to Ball and Ingrahm, those guys may be difficult to move going forward.
