So who’s replacing Davis in the all star game?

 

Probably Jimmy Butler since it supposedly came down to him and D-Lo when Russell made it in for Oladipo


Edit: or if it has to be someone from the west, it should be Gobert

 

Apparently they’re gonna find out if he’s able to play Sunday after treatment all weekend.

 

If he can’t play I’d love to see Luka chosen though I doubt that would happen. I’d be happy with Gobert too. Better not be Derrick Rose.

 

I hope none of the potential replacements are planning to take a vacation far from Charlotte. Maybe if AD can't go they'll just pick someone already in town. I'd imagine it would be Gobert, but waiting until Sunday doesn't seem conducive to selecting a specific replacement.

 

I want Gobert to make it just to see him make a point about defense, just trying to block literally everyone’s shot

I can't wait for the first fan videos burning a jersey only to realize midway they could have just changed it.

 

It's hard to get a good idea of what they look like on the whole (which I think is the point right now), but I think I like them. They have better raptor-related imagery than the actual Raptors uniform, at least. It's also interesting they look like a mid-cut sneaker when Kawhi has been playing in primarily low-tops for a while.

 

Yeah I’m not into those Kawhi NBs.

 

From what I can tell, the Kawhi NBs strike a solid balance between classic basketball sneakers and a more modern approach which I really appreciate. Love the thick band at the ankle and the 'claws' for lacing, and I'm a mid guy through and through. If the soles are sturdy, I'll probably grab a pair for playing on the blacktop courts in my area.

I also want some Dame 5s. They've been getting rave performance reviews. Lillard comes through yet again.

 

The Dame 5s make me bummed out I bought Dame 4s because I feel like I'd like the 5s way more

 

I suspect Danny Ainge has a horse in that race, and his name doesn't rhyme with Gavid Driffin.
