Lakers playing well to start the second half

 

Shooting almost 60% since first quarter

 

Not a good Kyrie game shooting wise

 

This Raptors lineup is hilarious. McCaw has played substantial minutes and we have no backup center because JV and Monroe are gone. That's what happens when 5 players have been traded away in the past few days and Kawhi is sitting.

 

Lakers look less “ruined by the trades” this half.

 

The celtics really miss Baynes when he's not in the lineup. Theis sucks.

 

I'm very happy that we didn't trade Siakam for a win-now rental.

Spicy P and FVV both hitting over 30 points is my favourite thing. Even against the Hawks, this is a fantastic moral victory. The Raptors are motivated.

I get that one player can make the difference in the NBA, but this Celtics deal still makes me nervous.

I feel like the Celtics have to be one of the worst 3rd quarter teams in terms of defense. So many games they’ve given up 35 plus points. Tonight was 42. It’s crazy how much the story changes from the first to second half.

Westbrook has 8 triple doubles in a row? Shit, most players don’t get anywhere close to 8 in a year. Surprised I didn’t see anything about this before tonight.

And he’s averaging a triple double this year? Third year in a row? That’s pretty crazy since he’s had George with him the last two years. I know he shoots a shitload but having a great player like George on your team seemingly would take away opportunities to do everything like he did his MVP year.
