  5. All I'm excited about is being able to quote from this piece when the Celtics drop him so fast trying to get AD.

The Savior of the "No-No-Yes" Celtics
He’s eventually going to be that guy. And then some. He’s going to be an MVP candidate and a 30-point scorer someday. Maybe sooner than we think. His ceiling isn’t Paul Pierce 2.0; it’s actually … (gulp) … somewhere between Carmelo Anthony and Durant.

  8. I think the Bucks will try to get another big on the buyout market - I don't know if they need another wing but Ellington or Matthews would be dope

probably complete the Lopez twin set tho which would be fun

I get that...but if he helps you get AD that's still waaaay better asset management than just drafting Fultz who...sucks.

  10. I can't believe Boston fans went from hyping Tatum to the levels they did last year to being ok with him just being an "asset to get AD" a year later. Everyone was saying he was the next LeBron just like 9 months ago! Now he's gonna be trade bait for a player whose dad said doesn't trust Boston. Man, I dunno.

lol I'm not advocating one way or the other. All I'm saying was...Danny was right to pick him over Fultz. There's no arguing that fact. Personally, I don't wanna move Tatum because AD doesn't wanna be here. I also don't think he's gonna be in the offer, but we'll see what happens.

  12. I am re-reading that Simmons column and I can't believe Boston would just dangle Tatum before a playoff run. Talk about confidence killing.

Yeeeeeah, that part i def don't get. Also, completely agree adding Kanter to the locker room is terrifying.

Also, I still believe in Jaylen Brown as a really useful piece.

I think his poor start to the year has resulted in people forgetting what his positives are.

  16. Oh, of course he was. I was saying he should have gone #1 haha. I'm just shocked how now a bunch of Boston fans are like "oh yeah, we didn't get Fultz, we got AD bait now!" --

Oh, and if I'm AD and I see the knifes in everyone's backs in Boston I'd be running the other way .... heh.

I like Jaylen a lot but he definitely feels like the odd man out if there's a trade in the offseason. No one will want Hayward, ideally you're getting Kyrie to re-sign and Tatum should be pretty close to untouchable.

Totally possible. But I like Jaylen over any of the Lakers assets was really my point.

  21. Did I miss anything? I was reading the shit show in the Thrice thread

Also, not looking forward to another four months of the AD saga. Should’ve traded him to some random ass team
