Neither do I. Would having Conley or Rubio instead make them better? I don't think so. Maybe Conley ends up in Detroit.

  2. It’s cuz Lowry is trash in the postseason

  6. feels like trading Lowry is just making a trade just to make a trade - I think it'll make them worse regardless of Lowry's past postseason struggles

It wouldn’t surprise me if Toronto had concerns about Lowry’s back holding up in the playoffs.

And I’m sure they wouldn’t mind getting out from under the $33 million they owe him next year.

    Just a friendly reminder

Conley has his own history of injury issues and he really isn't much of an improvement on Lowry. Losing Lowry is also losing the de facto team leader. I dunno. It doesn't make sense to me at all. Conley is expensive too.

Is Ellington still a serviceable 3-and-D guy? I have fond memories of him from the last Lebron-less Cavs season before he came back, when they remade the supporting cast midseason adding Ellington, Mo Speights, Luke Walton and Shaun Livingston and the post-Lebron Cavs became sorta fun as a team for the first time

EDIT: maybe that was two seasons before the Return; looks like the season before was when we signed Bynum and eventually traded for Spencer Hawes lol yuck

He's shooting 37% from three on just over 6 attempts per game. I think he's still a nice pickup.

  15. Ellington to Philly?

He’s barely played this year. I think like 20-25 games

I was just remarking off the cuff on what the motivations might be for moving Lowry. That wasn’t meant to be a comment on any specific trade proposal.

Toronto trading Lowry would make me kind of sad.

After that Hawes trade, we finished the season 16-15 in final 31 games. We actually had a real glimmer of hope after a 33-win season and miracously got the No. 1 pick...I always wonder how that team would have progressed had LeBron not returned. But then I laugh at myself for being so ridiculous.

That number one pick was Andrew Wiggins. That would have be rough for the Cavs haha.

  24. would love Ellington on the Bucks

Bill Simmons unironically suggested TJ McConnell could play in crunch time over Jimmy Butler on the Ringer NBA Show today, if anyone is wondering where things are at with him
