What a horseshit call

 

If the Lakers don’t trade for AD I really want every crowd to be as savage as Indiana was tonight. Team seems like it could possibly be at the breaking point already and hearing those chants night in and night out ain’t gonna help lol

 

Remember when LBJ and Magic both said that this was a slow process with next year being the year they make moves and have pieces come together and here we are barely halfway through the season and Magic is trying to give almost all current and future pieces away for one piece to try and win ASAP.

Where would the rest of the players come from to fill out the Lakers roster? The G-league?

 

Like I said, missing the playoffs with or without him.

 

I mean if you have a shot at one of the best three players in the league you take it ..

 

I guess. But if you believe you can get him after next season for “free” / not lose anyone that seems like a major move. Especially when this year is pretty much already decided even if you make that move now.

Who else starts / plays meaningful minutes if the proposed trade would be accepted?

I don’t think LBJ and AD this year get very far in the playoffs if they’d even get there.

But seriously who else plays along side them lol it’d be pretty much like Bron last year in Cleveland - great performances day in day out and barely scraping by for wins. AD would put up big numbers too but two great players isn’t gonna cut it to get anywhere this year. The other 3 guys have to do something and I have no idea who the Lakers have left after the trade to field a team.

 

Who cares? You have two of the best five players in the nba.

They went to the finals every year lol. Barely scraping by? I’d fucking kill for my team to have had those last three years.

And that maybe gets you a second round exit at best in the playoffs while still beating up their bodies because they gotta play 45 minutes a game.

Better than not having AD lol but giving up a lot to go nowhere

 

I don’t think the best player of all time and a top three player in the league is a second round exit.

And I guarantee they can put pieces around that as a core.
