Wait. So apparently Jim Boylen, the Bulls interim coach, is a different person from Jim Boylan, the interim Bulls coach after Skiles was fired. We have had two interim coaches named some variation of Jim Boylan. What the hell?

 

My mind has been blown. Also, it looks like he's not getting the interim tag at all. He's the official replacement. Maybe Jabari will play defense now!

also Bulls decision seems...impulsive. have they even played a game with their full roster this season?

 

Bobby Portis has played in four games, Markannen and Dunn have each played a single game, and Valentine won't play at all this season. It really does seem impulsive to make the move now. Plus, didn't they basically tell Hoiberg they were in rebuild mode?

For some players, they really don't matter. If stats told the whole story, you would think Lebron was REEEEEEEEEALLY good....which is still somehow an understatement.

 

Marcus Smart should absolutely keep shooting more and more three pointers and when he regresses to the mean in the playoffs keep shooting them anyway. That's my take.
