Not shocking, but it’s good to hear this from LeBron.

 

The Cavs have twice now had the greatest player in the generation and drove him away. If they then wind up with Zion i'll lose my damn mind.

Isaac will injure his ankle(s) again, Gordon's shooting will cool off, someone will remind D.J. Augustine he is D.J. Augustine, and they'll trade Vucevic.

 

Trade Vuc and Fournier and use that money to sign someone that's good in a relevant way.

I would have never in a billion years have traded Kyrie Irving, regardless of any circumstances, but Kyrie did request a trade, threatened to sit out if they didn't trade him and openly mocked LeBron before he was traded. It's also been documented that LeBron made zero effort to reach out to Kyrie during any of this time to try and patch their relationship or convince Kyrie to stay. This article seems like a way to give LeBron a blameless out of Cleveland while putting blame on Gilbert. It was also very well documented that Gilbert asked for LeBron's commitment to stay past 2018 in 2017 and LeBron wouldn't give it to him, making it hard to make roster decisions, which by the way, is totally LeBron's right, but to come out and point fingers - or to act shocked that Kyrie was traded given how public his request was - is not a great look imo.

 

Who is signing with the magic?

 

I don't know. Klay? I really don't know haha. Having max contracts is one of my many grievances with this league.

 

Unless one of Gordon/Bamba/Isaac become a legit star I just don't see it, you get rid of those bad deals and then use that cap space to get more picks or prospects and that's probably your best chance
