Am I wrong to think Houston is crazy for not giving up PJ Tucker in the Butler deal? They should 100% be in win-now mode. A team of Harden, Paul, Butler, Capela, Carmelo would be better than what they have now.

Nope. I think they should do that trade too. Butler was a top ranked 2 guard last season and 2X all-star. He’d bring more power to the team. PJ is a bulldog, but Jimmy is a savage. He’d fit right in with that group.

Plus, losing Ariza and then gain Butler? That’s an upgrade on both ends.

Point is you shouldn’t have to give up PJ because Minny has zero leverage to ask for him

I forgot the Wolves were sitting pretty in the 4th(?) spot last season before Butler got injured. Then all hell broke loose and there they were fighting for that playoff spot the last game of reg season.
