Stay away from my Prince, Skip.

 

Yeah, my life is about a thousand times better since I stopped caring/watching/hearing about Skip fucking Bayless.

 

A lot of the hot take sports reporters are guys who I'd think are like "oh I actually at least kinda know my stuff but I just do the hot take stuff for money/views/etc" but Skip's been a fraud since day 1 and always will be one

 

what the fuck lol. maybe this will be like Smart where no one will give him a half decent offer sheet and we can pay him like $8m

 

NBA rap is extremely corny but I respect the hustle they should enjoy themselves

Bol Bol is gonna be a really sad story I feel. 7'2" with a stress fracture in his foot and "degenerative" knees? Idunno man. That's brutal. Hope he proves everyone wrong of course

For what it's worth, Sexton essentially started at Shooting Guard the last 26 games of the season. Brandon Knight started all those games with Sexton in the backcourt. I love the Cavs draft strategy of getting shooters. They were 28th in the NBA last year in 3P and badly needed some upgrades. I liked Culver but it sounds like Garland is a way better shooter and scorer than him. I don't trust Cam Reddish at all.

The NBA is pretty much a positionless league nowadays and the Cavs (nor Collin Sexton) aren't good enough to draft for fit. They simply need to take the best talent available.

 

Have no idea what to expect from him professionally, knew he wouldn't get drafted but glad he's getting a look

 

Ok I wasn't posting during the draft but did we talk about how lame it is that Goga is gonna be on Indiana? He could put in solid minutes if given the opportunity but they won't even play Sabonis and Turner together so I don't see that happening. Big bummer. Relatedly, why are Sabonis and Turner so bad together? Turner can stretch the floor so theoretically it should work, only one of them can't shoot. I just want Goga to succeed :(

Garland was the BPA and the Cavs should absolutely be taking BPA at this point. Same goes for Porter, Jr. That's a completely justified home run swing. He has NBA skills as a shot maker if he can put it all together.

 

Hope he succeeds! Love him

 

It's to the point where I think I'll be disappointed in Phoenix if they don't throw an obscene number at Rozier.

I imagine putting on more weight will only worsen his knee condition, too. I feel so bad for him.

 

I'm ready for Phoenix to offer Brogdon the max haha

 

Yep and super cool guy Adam silver is like, that's cool man you do you. It's been happening for over 6 months.

 

The Suns are gonna trade for Reggie Jackson lol the Pistons will be like "We'll give you____" and the Suns will be like "mikal bridges and three first round picks! Is that enough?!?"

 

Ultimately, I'm satisfied with the way it went. I'm excited to see how it goes next season. Frankly, I hope the Cavs just grow internally next year while not winning games. When you're definitely not a title contender and rebuilding, there's no need to get eliminated in the first round or barely miss the playoffs while losing your 1st round pick.

 

They have like near CP3 cap room so maybe we can make it happen

 

Yeah, I agree. Give me 20 wins or 50. Anything in between would be a nightmare, haha.

 

As a newb, hows the draft class coming out next year
