I wonder if bol knew he might not have gotten drafted and came anyway, that would be even sadder.

 

Absolutely loving this draft for the Cavs. Wanted Hunter since the night of the draft lottery but no question Garland has more potential/upside than him. Typically not a huge fan of drafting players at the same position in back to back years but the Cavs aren’t good enough to worry about fit: they simply need to draft best talent on the board.

Biggest weakness for Cavs this past season was shooting and adding Garland and Windler could help a lot and KPJ could (hopefully) be the steal of this draft.

Regardless Cavs need to throw as many darts on the wall and hope a few stick. Feel good about these picks. VERY disappointed that we couldn’t deal the JR contract for any value but maybe they feel the contract will be more valuable in the days before FA starts and teams get desperate to create cap space.
