  1. Pels apparently have talked with the Timberwolves about the #4 pick.

Something like 4 for Covington and #11

    Dumb teams do dumb things?

  4. No clue. Maybe if you can unload Solomon Hill and get another player on top of Covington you do it. Not sure who else the Wolves have. I would be shocked if they included Okogie in a deal like that

The Wolves definitely don't have anybody else to trade. There's gotta be more to that.

  6. Some desperate team is likely going to call the Pels when they're on the clock at #4 with some type of decent deal. Maybe the Hawks make the move up with a bundle of their picks.

Worst case (lol) scenario is the Pels just take someone like Culver/Garland at #4 and call it a day.

  11. Uhhh just a straight dump?

Warren isn't bad at all lol. That's a massive W for the Pacers

He's been quite injury prone, hasn't he?

  14. Extremely but that's still such a ridiculous deal. You're getting a pick and a player that could be a rotational piece when healthy in exchange for cash.

Suns need a PG so add that to the list of teams that could give a lot of money to Brogdon

You're right. This is a no-brainer for the Pacers. I'm not really sure what they're doing...I feel like I've said that a lot the last decade.

Yeah, he's only played in 261 games in his five seasons. But, he's a good scorer on a reasonable contract, too. He shot 43% from three on 4 attempts a game last year.

I don't really like Warren, but my biggest issue is the opportunity cost. Indy was already in a bind when it came to re-signing their own FA. Unless they are willing to go into the tax, which I doubt, making this trade means that they are going to let go of some big pieces from last year. So I think they will ultimately be worse off for this.

  19. Still got some nice space

But they need to re-sign Bojan, Darren Collison, Thaddeus Young, and Cory Joseph. So that space is pretty illusory unless you are just going to renounce those guys. And all four are better than TJ.

Which is why I'd argue that the opportunity cost is too much.

As for Phoenix, this deal doesn't really make much sense unless they have something else lined up and needed space.

i know. i honestly don't think they'd make an offer on khris. maybe moreso brogdon, but i think phoenix and LAC make more sense for him
