Wouldn't be surprised if Korver just retires. His last year is only a partial guarantee and he was talking about it during locker clean out this year.

Definitely a lot to give up for someone who could leave in a year and hasn't been an all-star, but Conley is a good player so I think it's worth the risk.

 

Korver definitely seemed to be considering retirement at year end.

I still think it's a bit too much for Conley (who said he didn't want to play there before the deadline) but Utah didn't have any leverage, they were going to do whatever they could to get this through.

Maybe, but sometimes they turn those picks into the rights to guys like Mitchell and Gobert instead of injury prone vets who can leave in a year.
