First one is the one I originally saw, second seems from the same interview

 

I’m not saying it won’t happen, just that it’s not a given.

 

It’s too early, and the premise is based on a lot of hypotheticals coming into place, including the Lakers actually making s trade for Davis and then not getting another all star level player in free agency, but sure let’s bet $5,000 on it.

 

Dinwiddie is the only guy I can think of (in basketball, at least) of a guy who had a relatively quick ACL recovery. Tore it in mid-January, didn't end up having the surgery for about a month but started his rookie year within the first couple of games in November.

 

I just can't count the Spurs out until it finally happens.

 

This is where I'm at too. I think I've picked the Spurs to miss the playoffs the past 2 years or so and it never happens, they just stay good-to-great. I'm not picking em to miss again for a while.

Jimmy Butler is exactly the player I'd love to have on the Bucks if he wasn't so old.

 

Jimmy is a good fit for the Rockets. He should just go there.

agreed - Butler would have been the absolute perfect player for the Bucks in that Toronto series

I'm still of the mindset that I'll be happy if the Bucks retain 2/3 of Middleton/Brogdon/Lopez

there's no need to disrupt this core unless they can absolutely guarantee signing one of the top tier FAs

you can't "punt" on this year and lose both Middleton and Brogdon and hope you can snag a top tier FA in 2020 - especially since next summer is super max summer.

Wow. Yeah this whole thing is strange. Like maybe it really is as straightforward as Ujiri assaulting this guy with little to no provocation but it seems farfetched. Either way, it sounds like there's going to be a full investigation so we'll find out pretty quickly what happened and what the penalty is, if any.

 

I really want the Bulls to trade down and grab Nickeil Alexander-Walker plus another pick (a 1st or 2nd) to grab another wing. Dunn and LaVine just aren't the future.
