All the Warriors injuries really are a shame, but Toronto 100% earned this title

They really are. Nobody likes to see it. Especially going into a contract year. Klay losing out in all nba to lose money and now this. Just terrible.

Kind of crazy to think that out of 30 NBA franchises, only 10 have won 2 or more championships. Still 11 without one.

The Mavs championship is the one professional sports moment I had and now all I can think about is how awful Cuban and KP are

A Golden State Fan/Owner Investor assaulted a Raptors player. So if you want to compare fan interactions we could do that.

I mean no one supported a rich guy assaulting a Raptors player and plenty of people openly supported Kevin Durant being hurt. Very hard to compare the actions of a rich person everyone hates to the actions of PLENTY of Raptors fans who are just like us really

Man, it was a great series, but these injuries don’t seem worth it.

There was a ton of fan support for an injured Durant and Klay from the Raptors side. Even the Raptors players were stunned and concerned. In the post game last night, Kahwi said after Klay went down the most important thing to him was seeing his friend down on the floor injured. He said when the game started back up, he just had to refocus himself.

People trying to vilify a fan base as a whole over a fan is ridiculous.

Also, I’m pretty sure I heard the Golden State’s co-owner had a good charitable reputation, and that moment cake as a shock. See, the thing is, I don’t lump all Golden State fans and the organization into one persons actions.

Golden State’s current team is the most impressive roster of NBA players I’ve ever watch, and after years of being terrible, and them, I am actually glad to see those guys do so well. Especially Klay and Steph, who built that team to who they are on the court and forever changed the game to a 3 point shooters league.

Pretty cool that they won while wearing those NORTH unis. Should make them permanent now

Yeah but y'all jumping to be like "NOT ALL FANS STOP JUDGING US" moments after the injury happened rather than just being like "wow that's a really shitty look, fuck that" is exactly what makes y'all continue to look bad haha

We know it's not all fans but acting like that's the problem here is not a great look

Do the Raptors go to the White House or the Prime Minister of Canada's residence? Or both?

my guess is they'll get an invite from the Minister and they will all go and it will be great and then they'll all reject the White House invite and it will also be great.

Ball was turned over on the play which lead to a FG so there was plenty of reason for people to be cheering.

How come no one wants to talk about the highest drafted player on the Raptors line up was a 15th overall pick, how Fred Van Vleet was only given an opportunity to play by 1 NBA team, or Pascal Siakim being a rotational bench player to starting impact Most Improved player?

Raptors won without fitting the current NBA narrative of being a “Super Team”. This is no dynasty, and should really actually inject hope back into the NBA after years of watching the same teams and players in the finals over and over.

Also, it was a nice comeback story for Kawhi, who came back injury as well.
