Prove it. You’re making the claim, show the Bucks fans cheering any injury like we saw. If you’re gonna defend this shirt with “any arena would do it” then where’s your evidence of all the injuries that happen on the court followed by that reaction? Show your work.

A lot of people have done it for me. Also, show me another injury with similar circumstances. This is pretty goddamn unique considering the narrative of the Finals, the series score, and how much people love to hate KD. Add in a feverish playoff atmosphere and a rowdy crowd of rich people with the hottest prestige ticket in town. Given the context, I do genuinely think that this type of bullshit behaviour would happen in most other arenas, yes.

An arena cheering an injury? No they don’t. Sorry. I’ve watched sports my entire life and can count five times I’ve ever even heard of it happening and I had to look it up to even find the random times it has. Pretending this is common is absurd. It’s not common to cheer injures let alone loudly.

 

You really think I'm defending them. Wow. I'm talking about psychology and why historical context matters and you think I'm defending the actions. Crowd psychology is the most basic shit in the world but you think I'm defending what the crowd does. lf we can't have a conversation in good faith instead of you just pouncing on any hint that I'm being a jerk, this conversation is over.

I've watched sports my entire life too. It's not common, no one is saying it's common, we're just acknowledging the reality of sports fandom. Every fanbase has fans that would cheer/boo injuries. There's shitty people that root for every team, it's absolutely ridiclous to suggest otherwise.

 

Saying every single crowd would do this in the same scenario is saying it’s common. I’m saying not every single crowd does what we just saw ... or we would see it’s more often. It’s rare. Thankfully. It’s good that it’s rare and isolated. But pretending like it’s just something that any crowd would do is not true.
