I wasn't saying he would sit out, I was saying that the team doctors will have the info they need on him so they could better understand the medical situation. I can't think they're not at least curious about what happened there.

 

I don't think Doug ford could take that away too, luckily

 

Couple thoughts on the Celtics side of it:

The deal probably would have had to have been focused around Smart in a sign and trade so they could match salaries.

I can't imagine Danny loving the idea of adding Kawhi because now he's got two Superstars on expiring deals who are....weird? personalities. Talk about inviting trouble to your front door.

The prize has always and will always be Anthony Davis. Kawhi would have been nice, but Danny will sit and wait forever for AD to want out if that's what it takes.

 

Also everyone should follow Pop and literally not deal with the fucking Lakers

 

Say what you will about DeMar, he’s still a 4 time all star. I’m sure that’s an easier sell to season ticket holders than protected picks. The move allows them to be in the playoff hunt and not rebuild for the time being.

I like the deal for the spurs. They were never going to get anything worthwhile from the sixers, Lakers, or Celtics considering Leonard’s contract situation

 

Gonna be awkward if Kawhi fails his physical and the trade gets voided

 

Lowry, Green, OG, Kawhi, Siakim is a line up they should use cus you won’t be able to score on them when they use this.
