Speaking of Orlando, it feels weird not to have them in the lottery for the first time in years. I don't think that's terrible, though, as there's probably a bigger drop-off after the first few picks than in recent years. The value at 16 might not be much less than at 7 or 8.

Why leave for the Knicks in that scenario? Seems more likely the Knicks get only one of either KD/Kyrie (I'd lean toward Kyrie) and then still trade for AD; then the two very often injured Kyrie and AD get hurt in the most Knicks way possible while KD goes to the Nets or something weird.

Agreed. I think the only guarantee with KD is that there will be tons of quotes from him defending his decision, and telling us how hurt his feelings are by the media's critical takes. Also, I could see Brooklyn landing one of the bigger names this summer.
