That's interesting, if true. There was also a story yesterday suggesting he'd consider the Clippers if Golden State doesn't max him. I'm assuming he's self-aware enough to realize his talents are never going to be better utilized than they are as a Warrior, but maybe not. He touched the ball a total of 90 seconds during the game against Chicago where he made 14 threes. He's one of the best spot-up shooters ever, but not someone who will be at his best when tasked with creating offense off the dribble.

Honestly, I'd be surprised if he considers leaving. KD and Cousins are probably both going to be gone, and Klay will go back to being the number two option behind Steph. Plus, they can (and almost certainly) will offer him more money than anyone else.

 

if khris for some reason leaves i wouldn’t mind tossing klay a nice fat max deal but his complaints about playing with KD and Steph wouldn’t change with Giannis. or, for that matter, LAC with Kawhi

 

Going to Blazers/Nuggets tonight. Very excited to see this series up close.
