Full Disclosure: I went through my posts and found like 3 times where i did it so bring me my three slaps.

 

lol i know. Where did I say in that that i care if the complaint is justified or not? I honestly don't care at this point if a ref wears a shirt that say "I hate the rockets and beards look stupid" i still find James Harden insufferable everytime he does it lol

 

bad calls/no calls are a part of the game at this point, it's not surprising, but 99.99% of the time, it's not why teams lose games

 

There are fans who look at it from a tribalistic pov, I don't think they all do. They want what we want and that is just good, mostly fair basketball. Let the best team win without being screwy or controlling the narratives with faulty calls. I don't hate refs but there are obvious times where they get it wrong and swing games in a teams favor, that should never happen. There are all kinds of styles. Sometimes they give a lot of calls to one team and then switch it up for the other team next half, sometimes they hardly call anything, sometimes they call every single thing etc. What Barkley said is right, refs are only human and occasionally they have their own biases. There's nothing the NBA can really do about it (at least at this moment) but goodness, you could definitely have a bigger group of refs to head games to choose from. I think older, more experienced refs probably have a better grip on the rules but at the same time their seniority could easily give them joey crawford syndrome and not trying as hard as someone who's younger and given their first chance to do the best they can. You're creating a lax environment for them because it's always the top dudes calling big games and they know just because they have seniority they'll always be in the mix for the playoffs.

 

Exactly, the majority of the time the better team is still going to win but when you get a questionable call here or there it's always gonna bother you and make you think (maybe blank team could've won) and the fact is you have no idea haha

is brogdon back? us getting smart before you get brogdon would be the only way this is a real twist imo

 

the way it's going it seems like brogdon isnt coming back until ECF at the earliest if they make it there

 

I don't think Brogdon is going to play in this series unless it goes to game 7

 

if they go up 3-1 tonight there almost doesnt seem to be a need to rush him back, could maybe see him coming out for game 7 if it get's there

 

is that his legitimate timeline or are you just stunting on us by not even using your full strength

 

he's out tonight - and I just get the general sense the team isn't going to rush him back unless it's a break glass in case of emergency situation a la Game 7
