I’d like to do a FAAB system

 

Yeah, next year we'll take a look at it. I don't want to change it now since half the year has been under one system and half would be under a new system. Better just to let this ride out and make changes next year when we have a clean slate.

I second the FAAB system next year.

 

I was really pushing a waiver budget as the method when we started this league. It’s really the most fair way.

Rewards skill in terms of knowing how much to value players, and how much waiver wire money to save for pickups you might need more or value more later in the season.

But also someone who hasn’t made as many moves has more money to spend and a better chance at getting the player they want.

Anyone with any record can bid the highest and pick up any player. The person who needs that position more and trusts that player more is the one who will get the player.

 

Totally open to that next year. I think my reasons for no mid-season change makes sense though.

 

McCoy, Ekeler, Smallwood all available if anyone is really hurting at RB. They are valued in this order.

1. McCoy
2. Ekeler
3. Smallwood (decently cheaper than the other two)

Looking to package one with one of my 3 starting receivers for a WR upgrade. They are valued in this order.

1. Golladay (I need a WR1 in return if you want him in the package)
2. Cooper
3. Funchess (much cheaper than the other two)

Would also flip Alex Collins + Cooper for a RB1 or Collins + Funchess for a steady RB2 if you need a receiver

With four 6-4 teams and four 5-5 teams, any of us could get the third seed or fall out of the playoffs entirely hahaha

I have scored by far the least points so I need the most good fortune and consistent wins moving forward.

 

I was fucking 6-1 and now I'm 6-4.

In both this league and the other Chorus league I’m like 200 points behind a playoff spot if I was tied by record. I have to get in by W/L record.

Which then puts more pressure on the playoffs, because I have to already be on a winning streak and then try to keep it going.

I basically can’t lose lol. Maybe I could survive ONE loss, if some other high scoring teams lost a bunch the rest of the way

I'm glad I really applied myself to DraftKings. I've made $115.50 so far this year. Otherwise, I'd be pretty pissed with losing my first two picks before the season even started here. haha
