This post literally got proved this week. Case in point: this week we played each other. His team did far better than mine overall but I’m only down 1.1 points with a player to go. Because Derek Carr scored 0.3 and Drew Brees scored 31.4 lmao. Rivers was on my bench. Meanwhile my RB scored a combined 10.3 points, while Alex Collins scored 10.4 and got his seventh TD (he’s on pace for 13). Collins was on HIS bench. Like I said I really need RB and Brees is hard to sit lol. And he’s desperate for a QB, Carr’s 0.3 points were still better than the -3.6 by Stafford on his bench. The trade makes a lot of sense and benefits both sides, considering we aren’t even currently using either player. I don’t get how or why 2 of you have vetoed it. I almost started Rivers and if I didn’t change my mind on game day I would’ve lost 16 points.
Man it would have been nice to know earlier that Gronk was going to be out so I could have started Ben Watson
The sad thing is it might be possible. Suck it, Tennessee! I'm not even phased by Leveon/McKinnon ruining it here. I have been killing it on DraftKings and won $36 from $12 yesterday alone thanks to my Cleveland boys! (Talking Hunt/Kelce)
This part makes sense for the most part. He and I were talking about Mixon, so my only thing was you shoulda been aiming higher than Alex Collins. Outside of fantasy, I think Collins is legitimately bad at football. I have never been impressed with him.
My original offer was Rivers and Funch for Emmanuel Sanders. He didn’t like any of my receivers and said that’s just like a Rivers for Sanders trade in his opinion. So since he declined that I traded Rivers straight up for a player a grade below Sanders at a position I badly needed. Mixon is above Sanders. He wouldn’t have accepted. I ain’t trading Fournette now that he’s finally about to be healthy, and maybe if the Bills weren’t terrible McCoy would have actual RB2 value but he currently does not.
You’re underrating Collins also. He was the best RB on the Seahawks and now he’s the best one on the Ravens. He’s good in short yardage and bounces off tackles pretty well in open space. You talk about him like he’s Alfred Blue. He definitely has some shake and some power as well. He wouldn’t have 7 TD if he wasn’t good, especially since Buck Allen has stolen a few 1 yard TDs from him on the goal line. Collins would have like 9 or 10 TD if the Ravens would feature him.
I just think he's just another guy. Very middle of the road. But you're right, it didn't cost you anything since Rivers was never gonna play.
Eh. I think the problem is just that the Ravens are boring haha. They don’t look like they’re doing well when they’re doing well. Harbaugh likes to win slowly and painfully. Collins body is also shaped weird in a way that he doesn’t look fast, but he is haha
If we do this league next season the waiver priority needs to change to a reverse system. Same person holding on to the the number one spot all season isn't fair.
