As fun as it is to watch Edmonton, losing the McDavid lottery still stings a bit. Combine that with the money I have riding on it and I really want a ANA game 7 win.

The only silver lining I can take out of this game is that Edmonton is a really, really young team. They came out deservedly pissed after the Game 5 screw job...but are they blowing their wad here in Game 6? Can they match this intensity again for Game 7, or is Anaheim going to show up like a veteran team that's been there before (and choked) and actually pull it off for once?

 

That veteran team only had 1 point more than this young team in the regular season.

Edmonton isn't the under dog everyone makes them out to be.

 

The reason I hate the Oilers is because the city is garbage.

I'll actually be at a baseball game on Wednesday getting plastered so this is all in the hockey gods hands from here on out.

 

They're not an underdog because they just scraped into the playoffs. They're an underdog because they're a roster with a lot of guys with like 15 games or less of NHL playoff experience. Regular season production means nothing in the playoffs.

The Blackhawks had 15 more points than the Predators in the regular season and got waxed. If Washington loses tomorrow night, 3 of the last 4 President's Trophy winners will have missed the Conference Finals.
