When I first saw that clip I thought Oshie's embellishment was embarrassing, but yeah that stick definitely hits him in the face. Still think it was an overreaction by Osh but ...

 

I know I'm biased, but, best organization in sports. Proud to call myself a fan.

There is both and in game rule of diving that refs can call, and the league can disapline players upon further review for diving or flopping.

Like we both said, all teams do it. That little pick interference play, a Pens wobble isn't a flop or a dive though.

The real problem/challenge for refs, players and fans is the rules change from the regular season to playoffs. What's penalty in October needs to be a penalty in May. (The delay of game puck over the glass penalty is really the only one you can count on all year, and although it's a comical penalty with all the players pointing up in the sky you know you stand a better chance to get away with a two handed slash than a puck over the boards).
