Wow, the favoring of Crosby and the Pens is so old.

 

I kind of hate you right now

That looked bad. Especially to a guy with a history of head injuries

 

Crosby looked concussed.

 

I want to see it again, but it looks like he got hit in the head with a capitals stick before falling into the crosscheck

Yea, Crosby definitely looked out of it. Not what you wanna see with his history of concussions.

I gotta say, in real time, the Crosby injury appeared to be more of a knee/ankle issue.

Replay says otherwise, but he might have lower-body issues

 

I think it was largely Ovi smashing his stick into the back of Sids head, only to slide into a crosscheck to the very same head

 

I'd be shocked if Crosby plays another game this year

It definitely was but why did it take the coaches challenge to overturn it? Why didn't they when they first looked at it?

 

Toronto was like "eh not worth my time unless they throw a challenge out"

 

I think they said the first review was to make sure it went in legally (no kicking motion/net on pegs). Didn't sound like they even looked at interference for some bizarre reason. It's the NHL though, so the incompetence doesnt surprise me.

 

I'd bet he tore something in his knee

These refs fucking suck. Cullen was hooked so obviously and the fact that the Caps have the PP now makes zero sense. It should be even if anything.
