I mean, I love Crosby as much as the next Canadian, and I'd much rather Nashville take home the cup. Having said that, being a die hard fan and going to all the home playoff games of a team for a team's first cup win, I want as many fan bases as possible to experience that. Especially those in a non traditional hockey market.

Give me cups for San Jose, Washington, Minnesota, you name it.

 

Can we add Buffalo to the cup list please please please

 

This is going to be like if the grizzlies were playing the pacers in the NBA finals, wake me up when it's over.

 

The Preds being compared to the Grizzlies or Pacers is just ridiculous.

Yeah I get what you mean. Going into the playoffs, I think that was probably the last matchup the NHL wanted in the final.

Nashville has probably changed that narrative a bit, but yeah. I blame it on Ottawa being a mostly irrelevant franchise.

I remember last year people were complaining about the sharks ratings in the finals.

They were so bad because the Bay Area is basically golden state forever currently.

they basically went shutdown mode every series up until the scf

The thing that made them fun was the personalities they had and the first Stanley cup finals
