If Karrlson takes a hit even resembling the hit Bobby Ryan put on Ruhweedle then the benches empty and all of Canada demands blood. Blatant elbow to the head.

 

I don't doubt there would be outrage, but I don't think it was "blatant". Ruhweedle's head was pretty low. Ryan probably could have recognized the situation and avoided it, but I don't think it was super intentional. Very borderline.

I just think it's some incredible bullshit that the Pens got the only penalty in the resulting scrum

 

Fair on the blatant comment. At what point is the onus on the hitting player to not do something though? Like if it's a dangerous position at all they don't go for the fucking hit? I don't think hitting should be removed and just because a player is injured doesn't mean the hit was dirty, like the Rust hit. I'm just getting sick of all this bullshit.

 

Also I would feel this way for anyone, but it just keeps happening to pens players so that's the only time I get to comment.
