I would do that too but the Celtics don't need Saric. What they need is an athletic big man to pair with Horford who can run around and make plays on defense without needing the ball too much. Wonder where the Sixers could find that

Draftexpress updated their mock saying the Sixers take Monk and pushing Jackson to the Suns. Interesting.

EDIT: the teams were updated, but Monk is down at six to the Magic now.

 

At #11, I guess I'd be happy with Leaf, Kennard, Markkanen, or Allen

 

Sixers need shooting so I get that, but passing up Jackson's excellence at everything besides shooting (and ability to not damage automobiles) would be silly IMO

Agreed. I'm a big fan of Monk, but I think you gotta take Jackson. And he's not even that bad of a shooter. Shot 38% last season from three. Get him with a solid NBA shooting coach and he'll get more consistent mechanics.

 

Knicks will Knick forever

 

Malik monk is a 7-10 pick at best, it's crazy how high people are on him. Devin Booker went 13th and IMO was a way better prospect because of his ceiling. Shooting in big games really goes a long way.
