She messed up and i think she cursed in the process..lol. it cut the audio out for a good couple of seconds
Adele definitely could've gotten away with whatever was messed up in this performance. I had no idea until she stopped and asked to start over.
There were obviously technical issues going on. There was a weird low level buzzing and she sounded just off. I'm sure she couldn't hear herself. They had to have fixed it for the do over cus she instantly sounded better
Adele was whoa off key..not sure how anyone missed it tbh. IN 2 interviews she made a crack about taking time for mental health and that she hasn't gotten to the shaving her head stage.
Her having them start over is gonna overshadow any aspect of the tribute towards him and tbh it's not the direction I would've gone with it anyway. I wouldn't have complained if Adam Lambert had done it and I don't even check for him but I think he would have done it well
See that's my problem with Adele doing the tribute. Personally, I wanted an LGBT figure to do it. Glambert is one of the artists I thought of too.
So i got home late and started watching right when Chance won Best New Artist. Did I miss any performances before that?
George Michael's sexuality is so much a part of his legacy it feels kinda weird to have a heterosexual artist pay tribute when there are so many LGBT artists who could've, esp gay men.
I'm pretty disappointed tbh. Like even if it hadn't gotten messed up I still wouldn't have been here for it.
Kinda ironic Chance's free album beat the album he rapped "i heard you have to sell it to snatch the grammy" on
He's definitely what I'm most looking forward too, but thats not it. This is probably the first Grammys in a LONG time that I care about
