With the 66th pick the San Francisco 49ers select: Carlos Henderson, WR, Louisiana Tech Probably should go defense, but I like Henderson too much to pass up here. Henderson gives the 49ers and Yung Shanny another big time playmaker for an offense in desperate need of receivers with playmaking ability. @Fuck You Aurora Bears
With the 67th pick the Chicago Bears select : Nate Peterman, QB, Pittsburgh. With Cutler on his way out the Bears need a QB. I really like Peterman, he has a strong arm and reminds me of Drew Bress in a way. Obviously things will change in the next mock for the Bears as seeing they are ready to part ways with Cutler.
The Jacksonville Jaguars select Roderick Johnson, OT, Florida State The Jaguars get one of the best tackle prospects in the draft in the third round. Johnson can slide right in and take over for Jeremy Parnell, who has been absolutely abysmal in Jacksonville. While they need to figure out the interior situation, I trust their ability to find a guard through free agency over a tackle. That leaves Johnson, who could provide much needed leadership on the offensive line.
Tennessee Titans select Isaiah Ford, WR, Virginia Tech Mariota needs some weapons. Ford is good value here. Good size and athleticism. Solid route-running. Reliable hands. Won't be a star but a nice reliable weapon.
Isaiah Ford has all the makings of a guy who has one good year, gets really hyped the following year, and then everyone hates him because they overdrafted him in fantasy.
With the 71st pick the LA Chargers select: Fabian Moreau, CB, UCLA. The Chargers gotta revamp that scondary.
Carolina Panthers select Jake Butt, TE, Michigan I've said it before on here, the Panthers need a complete overhaul on offense. The WRs have been a letdown, Stew is aging, and the tackles are pretty bad. I'd feel more comfortable addressing the OL situation in FA. We don't have time for one from the draft to develop. So far the Panthers have added an elite talent at RB in Fournette and a safe, reliable target a WR in Kupp. Now Carolina adds another big pass catching TE, Jake Butt. Gettleman has let it be know he wants an upgrade at the TE2 spot. Being able to run two TE sets with Butt and Olsen could cause mismatches in the passing game.
I'd be so happy with Fournette, Kupp, Butt. It's been 6 years, it's about time we go all-in to get Cam some weapons.
The Cincinnati Bengals select: Malachi Dupre - WR - LSU Adding some WR depth makes sense considering the attention Green gets and Eifert's injury history. It's also not completely dire that Dupre is super productive immediately. The size and upside make sense here. @xkj1985x is up.
