100%, I think this record is to die for. When those double bass parts come in on 'Soothing'... gets me every time. Also there's barely any filler on there, unlike Short Movie. Must have really benefited from Blake Mills producing it - this thing works way better as a collective whole.
Update. March was a really great month for me. I connected with a lot of new releases... where to begin?! The Offseason, SHEMUSTBURN, Reward, Within The Ruins, A Will Away, Fit For An Autopsy, Culprit, Sorority Noise, The Artificials, Nova Collective, Darkest Hour, The Traditional
yeah I don't know. I was pretty hyped from everything on that list but it was mostly all a let down. I'm really loving the new Maine record though. :)

We've talked about this before on the yearly music threads, but personally I spend at least 8 hours per day listening to music while I work (very solitary writing/editing job). About half of that is spent on music with which I'm already familiar; the other half I use to explore new music/work my way through an extensive backlog. I also have commutes on my bicycle, gym time, and downtime at home, though frankly I prefer podcasts/audiobooks in those contexts.
