soooo the Devils have 2 RWs on the NHL roster and one is Stefan Noesen (who is RFA)

 

here is my terrible breakdown of the deals:

Martin Jones: I'm skeptical because in his first season he was .918 and that was a shade above league average while the second season he was .912 which was below league average. I would have liked for the Sharks to wait out this year and see how he does and then sign a contract. My problem is I don't feel like we are at a point where league average(possible above average goaltending) is worth nearly 6 million.

Vlasic: I do love me some Vlasic but that deal worrries me in the later years. It's rare to see a defenseman be truly great after 35. I would have also liked to see the AAV go down a little bit because while he is indeed a shutdown defenseman, his offensive side is seriously bad. He also had a really bad year last year so hopefully he can rebound.

 

I'd love to see Marleau come to the Ducks just for the reaction from Sharks fans

 

Why are we giving Hainsey 6 million dollars?
