Vegas flipping Schlemko to the Habs for only a 5th really pisses me off. I officially hate them now, and I was on board with cheering for them as long as they werent playing the Sharks.

Mirco Mueller fetched a 2nd and a 4th. Let that sink in for a second. He sucks and got more than Schlemko.

 

I mean, its kind of unfair to compare a 22 year old former 1st round pick to a 30 year old journeyman. and this is coming from someone who likes Schlemko a lot.

Mueller has been stuck behind a bunch of LHD in San Jose (including Schlemko) which is why he hasnt broken through full time yet

 

to be fair it seems like McPhee has been sucking at most of these trades

I definitely get where youre coming from, but Mueller couldnt get off 3rd pairing in the AHL, where he was still awful. Vegas couldve gotten more than a 5th for Boedker and we actually wanted him gone. Schlemko was just wasted. Thats what is upsetting about it.

They need to have 6 guys at least to fill in for defense. I'm not sure what other options they have.

Still need to resign Kassian, Draisatl, Pitlick and Mcdavid is in for a huge raise the following year. My guess is that he'll be the highest paid player in the league.

Saving money where they can is not a bad idea in my opinion.

Pretty much where I am....Seeing NP a handful of times here in Seattle when BWK won the WHL two years ago on the team with Provorov---I could see what he was the consensus #1 pick in this draft back then.

Obviously a down season this past year with the injury is why he may not go #1 now but still, hell of a player.

Again, the Flyers have no business in the Top 10, let alone the Top 2 so whatever happens---I'll be happy with but Patrick is who I am hoping for.

Also, it's kinda strange that he's talked to Brayden Schenn. I understand the BWK connection but Schenn was there when Patrick was like 11....
