No haha. I was admittedly hopeful about him back in 2014 before he had a string of injuries, but once he got himself in the lineup he revealed that he's always in the wrong position, gets burned defensively, yet Q loved him.

If he does get flipped to you guys though I hope he turns it around since I wanna see the Canes go all the way with Darling and Teuvo.

Anyways I'm v happy that TVR is gone so Kempny can finally crack the lineup on a regular basis and some of our prospects get a chance.

Yeah I'm expecting Vegas to make a few more trades. They only have 800k of cap space currently. Clarkson/Grabovski are still injured on the IR apparently and both have 5M salaries. Not sure what the plan is next for the team but it sure is fun to watch.

 

they have 30 players on their roster, of course their cap is going to be high

 

yeah and 6 of those players still need contracts....

My best guess is that now that the freeze is over... every gm is gonna start playing hardball, whether they had a deal they agreed on or not. They'll wait it out, ughhhh

Everything out of Shero and Castron's mouth the past few months has been about how this is a 2 horse race for #1. Even the Devils' twitter account has been pumping it. I also think the player that McKenzie puts #1 on his draft board has gone 1st overall the past 15 years or something. I am pretty confident we are taking Nico at this point.
