that sounds like a terrible trade for the bruins

 

thinking of getting Season Pass (or whatever it's called for hockey since every sport seems to call it something different) next year to a) try it out and b) to hold me over until Seattle starts up in two years. i was thinking of using San Jose, Anaheim or New Jersey. would either of those three be good ones to start with? i don't want to choose the Browns or Titans of the NHL as i get acclimated to the sport / learn what is going on out there.

also, any issues with the Season Pass stuff? i live out of market for Seattle (live in Wisconsin now) so i'm hoping there are no blackout issues to contend with.

So I'm not sure how you prefer to watch games but this year I used r/nhlstreams for almost every Devils game and it was awesome. Good quality and typically only a few seconds behind live play. I was always able to find a good stream. I would recommend it if you dont mind watching on the computer since its obviously free.

Speaking as a Devils fan I think they are a good follow for a "new" fan. They play an exciting style of speed hockey and have the likely MVP along with a bunch of young developing players

I probably wouldn't recommend a western team since they may become rivals of the Seattle team
