everything about my prediction is bad

 

Cant believe the Ducks not only made the playoffs but got home ice for the first round. They went 10-1-1 in their last 12.

 

I will never understand why my fellow Blues fans act so upset when the team fails, like you know what you got yourself into. I swear I will not allow my daughter to be a Blues fan, she doesn’t deserve that pain.

 

Completely prepared for the Sabres to lose all 3 lottery drawings and picking #4. Kind of happy with the idea of Quinn Hughes there. The Sabres desperately, desperately need more team speed and better puck movers on the back end, he checks both boxes.

I'm calling my shot now: I think at least two of Chicago, Montreal and Detroit will jump the line in the lottery. Power markets, original 6 teams. It would be so perfectly Detroit for them to win the lottery for #1 to get a stud Swedish defenseman, wouldn't it?

 

Proud of my Stars for finishing strong, Jamie with another hatty which honestly lol, finishes one point ahead of Seguin for most points on the team (Seguin with the most goals). Overall good season, much better than last year, it was just that Road Trip from Hell that killed us or we'd have been in the playoffs for sure.

That said, I'm happy for the Avs, with all their injuries, to have made it after their terrible season last year.

Now I just hope the Bruins win today because I think I would rather the Leafs have the Lightning first round... But I guess it doesn't really matter either way. The Atlantic remains unclinched til the very last day of the season.

Also I forgot to mention that Freddie now holds the franchise record for single season wins by a Leaf goalie! With all the rookies breaking records last year and the team setting a new record for single season points, it just feels right that the Great Dane should get in there too.

I just saw the offsides play from the Blues/Avs game, and I’m sort of blown away. The officiating in this league is next level incompetent. Literally any of us in this thread could do this job

Man idk about the Jets winning but I’m skeptical of any of these teams sans Nashville

 

Nashville has the 4th best chance according to that - thought they would've been first. My personal favorite to win, honestly.
