Boston still have a chance to finish first in the East ahead of Tampa, so Devils would play against them.

But anyway, Panthers will make the playoffs.

I think that's just the media spin. Freddie left the team and people thought that Dougie might give up since he was the one who pushed for his brother to be on the team, but he's been one of the top offensive defenseman in the league in this last stretch. I think he's matured since Boston and it would hurt like hell to lose any offensive edge on a team that has very little beyond two lines and Dougie.

 

Yeah I mean I doubt he is, honestly. Have no clue why they would trade their #2 dman...closer to a #1
