Another thing that is interesting is that in all of the arena renderings that have been released by the Oak View Group have been with a red & black color pattern. The NHL to Seattle owners just hoisted a large red & black "NHL Seattle" flag atop of the Space Needle in the past 20 minutes.

Safe to say whatever the logo is, red and black is the odds on favorite as color scheme.

Might I suggest....Seattle Wolfpack. newnewnewnewnewworldorder.

Delete the Sounders, Seahawks, and Mariners then.

One City, One Color Scheme.

 

Also red and black is lame.

 

I am okay with deleting all of those teams.

Seahawks and Sounders are the only teams with lime. Mariners, Thunderbirds, Silvertips, Sonics (RIP), Storm, Rainiers all have different colors.

Now if you wanted to make the argument for Navy then sure, that could be made more so than navy and lime (or lime period).

The VGK unis definitely put pressure on them to not suck

 

I was really against the Vegas colors and layout at first, but now I love them.

Hey we're mostly red and there's white and also the badass green ones. I'm talking mostly black with some red.

 

Well duh lol. Two of them are junior hockey teams, one a WNBA franchise, and the other a AAA farm team of the Mariners. Of course they don't have a national scope. All I am saying is that just because the two largest teams in the region have the same color scheme does not in the least bit mean the hockey team should or will.

Hell, no one gave two shits about the Seahawks on the "national" scale until they drafted Russell Wilson six years ago...

Also, I can't think of many cities that incorporate the same color scheme for ALL of their sports teams. Pittsburgh comes to mind as one....but that's all I am drawing on right now.

 

Pittsburgh is the only one. They are ahead of their time.

The other wrench into your grand plan is that when the Sonics return, they surely won’t be adopting a navy/lime color scheme lol.

 

I would hope they don't adopt the sonics colors, only because their unis would look too similar to n.dakota

 

It’s early but I have a feeling it’s going to be something to do with “Kraken”. It kinda has a Seattle vibe with the water and one of the owners is Jerry Bruckheimer who produced all of the Pirates of the Carribbean movies.

Just a hunch.
