The more the merrier, honestly! A bunch of people jumped in with Vegas this season. I'm sure some people might have something to say, but learn as you go and don't let the jerks get you down!

The refs who called Johnny Gaudreau's 10 minute misconduct for unsporstmanlike conduct after he got a high stick to the neck deserve the gulag.

Edit: I understand that it was an embellishment after watching it again but still, unless he was getting extremely personal, deal with it dude.

 

It means Canucks fans will hate you, which will endear you to the fans of the other 30 teams.

It depends on their first season. If they have a season like Vegas, you'll probably be treated like a bandwagon fan, but if they're not good you'll be treated like a normal fan.

The Lightning played like trash tonight but the US Women's Hockey Team was there to drop the puck and be celebrated which was great. They also did some signings around the arena during the first intermission which I didn't expect so I got to meet Maddie Rooney and some others from the team so I'm pretty happy.

Seattle's ticket drive started 9 minutes ago. I just put down $1,000.00 for two seats.

I'll be really curious how long it takes Seattle to get the 10K seats they've been requested to get. I heard somewhere that the ticket drive costs for Seattle are 75% ($500 per seat or $1000 per seat for a club seat) more than they were selling for in Vegas. Not sure how accurate that is but would be interesting to see.

 

I don’t know what’s worse, the fact that Cassidy is scratching Danton Heinen for Brian Gionta, or the fact that our third line is Gionta-Backes-Wingels tonight

looks like the goal is the 2020-21 season

 

if they use the same expansion rules, which seems like it is quite possible, anyone in the NHL right now would have to be protected essentially.

Yup. They are completely gutting and redoing the Key Arena right next to the Space Needle. That process starts in Oct-Nov this year and will be done in the Summer 2020, just in time for the NHL season.

Ticketmaster has made $362,500.00 in "Fees" from these placeholder sales today lol ($14.50 x 25,000).

 

I kinda felt like buying season tickets and then selling every single one on StubHub

 

damn, the article says that the arena will seat like 17,000? that's incredible how many deposits they have already

 

The new Key (Amazon Arena at Seattle Center? Expedia Arena?) will seat anywhere between 18,000 & 20,000 from what I've seen. I would guess on the higher end of that but regardless, sounds like there will be a wait list for season tickets for a while.

 

That'd be a very smart move if the Seattle team comes out of the gate like VGK has (highly unlikely). So in reality, probably good that you didn't do this for your own wallet.

 

If Holland ends up being the GM that team will definitely not be anywhere close to Vegas' level
