He was fine in shootouts with Ottawa. It's a mental issue. Doesn't help our shooters can't score worth a damn either.

And I dunno, I'd say a top 10 save pct on a team with a shit defense last year is pretty consistant. Got held out to dry so often. And overall he played very well last night.

 

The inconsistencies for me are he'll make a highlight worthy save, and after that allow 3 goals on 5 shots. I know the defense was atrocious last year, and I'm not denying he can be very good sometimes. Inconsistent is definitely the best word I can think to describe him though

Quick story - My brother and some friends went to see the Habs in Jersey a few years ago. They were in the bathroom speaking french amongst themselves minding their own business and a dude approached them and said: "Speak english you goddamn terrorists".
