I guess that thinking is because of Ho Sang/Barzal/Beauvelier but I still have a lot of faith in Strome/Lee.

 

The Ryan strome bandwagon is a hell of a thing

 

Haven't said it in this thread but I've said it before and surely will say it again - Steve Yzerman is a god. That Drouin trade is perfect. We can protect Killorn while re-signing Johnson and Palat, who are much more likely to put the team first than Drouin, who was the odd man out on that team anyway. Another second rounder is nice and I am a fan of Sergachev.

I'm not familiar enough with TB's defense, how likely is it that Sergachev plays half the season with the big club?

He can probably have a spot in their bottom 4, after Hedman, Stralman, and Dotchin, but if I were TB, I'd play him 39 or less games to get that 2nd round pick in a good draft next year. I don't think he'll be that much of a difference maker to not get that pick... especially with Windsor's coach leaving, I'd play him in the AHL.
