Loved Jordan Weal's game tonight. Flyers desperately needed someone like him to get to the scoring areas & he did for at least three good chances. The one he scored one wasn't even his best look. Giroux on Couturier's wing looked pretty good. Kind of need that line to take over games with how much it impacts the rest of their lineup and they weren't totally there yet.

Will never understand DeBoer giving Tierney's line more 5v5 minutes late when Thornton's was the only one tilting the ice. Bro, you have home ice advantage. Use it.

 

never forget that time tierney and that dude who doesn’t even play in the league anymore kept getting matched up against crosby in the Stanley cup finals.

The crazy thing about mcdavids second goal is his ability to have that much control at a speed like that. Like he makes it look so easy going top speed, to stopping in a split second.

its just my luck the Devils win the draft lottery right after McDavid and Matthews

hopefully my sons Pavel and Nico can become great players

 

That and his ability to accelerate to jet speed with the puck. He didn't have to do cross overs or anything to get going, he just bolted down the ice. When he starts cutting to the middle he's even quicker.

 

I'm so excited to see the (hopefully) new look Sabres tonight! Tough first game though against the habs!
