Vanek is a UFA and would cost no picks... Plus a potential 40-50 point winger on a cheap deal is far from a bad deal. "lol"

 

I mean, they should play as many young guys as possible but signing vanek or some middle of the road guys to cheap deals won't stop them from a top three pick and let them go more young next two years. They might want to use the vets to help teach the young guys like Tampa likes doing, and overpaying guys for.
