I like this deal for MTL, obviously....I like Sergachev but not at this price, imo. Yzerman has to think he's going to bust out like someone like Provorov did this past year.

Flyers need to be doing something with their embarrassment of riches in d prospects to get some scoring from somewhere. Drouin would have been perfect on G's wing. =(

 

Tampa fans on social media are furious and also mostly don't understand that they had no choice so this isn't as terrible as they think idk

I think Fleury or Bean plus a pick is a more likely package based on what Drouin just went for.

Bean plus a pick makes sense. Supposedly Galy for drouin was discussed but Tampa wanted a young player they didn't have to pay so maybe MTL wants a more established player.
