That was two off the top of my head. Vesey had a solid rookie season with NY. Kevin Hayes has done really well for himself in NY. I don't think there's a ton of guys who leave their NHL teams on their own terms prior to signing an ELC. If there was a larger list for me to grab names from, I'd mention more. I have no idea what level of leaguewide interest this guy will have, but he was a really good college player, so it's quite possible that he ends up with a decent NHL career.

I mean I just feel horrible for Avs fans, they would become such a great bandwagon team if they are ever good again and he's throwing every opportunity to build a good team to the wind. I feel like he'll be fired before the season ends anyway but being a player on that team right now with him in charge of them can't feel great.
