I'd be stunned if Jagr didn't sign. He had the same amount of points as Marleau who will now be making 6.5 mil next year. He will get a contract

 

Marleau got that speed though. I think and basically a 20 goal scorer every year.

 

Can't wait for this to end in a disaster.

these college UFAs almost never turn into anything

that said, I would like to sign Butcher. the Devils need LHD in the system.

 

I mean, Blake Wheeler is a big name. Justin Schultz is pretty solid as well. The ones that end up having a large interest leaguewide usually are the real deal.

There just isn't a ton of guys who don't sign with their draft clubs unless the clubs don't offer them a deal. Most of the guys who hit UFA after rejecting a club's offer turn into serviceable NHLers from what I've seen.... which is better than like 40% of Colorado's roster, lol.
