theres already talk of another lockout in either 2019 or 2020. this would not be good at all for the sport as a whole if it comes true. i know the players arent happy with the nhl but for real they all need to stop being greedy fucks and just play the damn sport. it took them forever to dig out of the one like 15 years ago or whenever it was. the one from 2012 not so much but still they played a half a season unlike the one before and imo the sport has seen a shit ton of growth since the 2012 lockout. another one 7-8 years later would piss alot of fans off and the ones they piss of too much might not come back

 

I don't blame the players one bit. This falls on Bettman/GMs/Owners

 

both the players and owners/GM's have fault if there is another lockout.

 

Let's be real here.

The true culprit is capitalism.

If the NHL is serious about spreading to China/Asia, having another lockout would be the dumbest thing. But, it is the NHL, so bank on it happening.
