I like this Johnson contract a lot. We should have just enough freed up in two years to re-sign Kuch and Vassy.

Yeah, I'll be shocked if he gets more than $3.5 mil. AAV. He's great, but defensemen like him usually don't get paid big.

 

I'd be fine with him getting an even 4, probably even 4.5, just because Slavin's deal will be a bargain sooner than later. I'm fine locking up Pesce for 7 years as well and not having to worry about our top pair for the next 8 years.

Charlotte is dope. Raleigh's best quality is proximity to reasons to leave Raleigh. Both are cool. I just wanna see the Lightning and Devils before I move somewhere where that'd be a lot harder.
