Waivers at the beginning of the year usually aren't that big of a deal. Every team needs to trim down their roster and there's only so many teams with available space. I can't see him not making that roster, though. They don't have a lot of left-hand shots on defense.

 

This is absolutely stupid we got nothing for Kruger but decided to sign a half brain-dead Sharp and three fourth line wingers for the same amount of money it would have taken the keep Kruger

 

That's true but they also don't want him doing that, they're trying to actively make him a different player who isn't as good. I'm not even joking lol that's why I'm saying if they did something like that, there's no way they'd get away with it. Fans are already weary of the chance that they'll play old shitty veterans over younger players with more potential for most of the season. I just can't see it happening.

I was looking at the remaining free agents and dang it is a bunch of garbage in there.

I think Jagr and Vanek are the only reallly appealing ones.

 

I would sign Jussi Jokinen to a one-year deal in a heartbeat.
